What opinion of the world does an eight-year-old have? As a child, it is difficult to keep the truth which you observe apart from the truth which exists, especially if it is being manipulated. As a child matures, little iceberg tips of truth emerge, enticing the chill of doubt. The idea begins to creep into the child’s mind that maybe, things are not what they seem.
